The 1st European Congress on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ECTH2016)
Conversations with senior individuals indicate that currently there are national, regional and global meetings in the field of thrombosis and haemostasis, but not in Europe, even though the greatest concentration of clinicians and scientists reside here. Therefore an European Congress on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ECTH) will be organised at the World Forum Conference Center in The Hague, 28-30 September 2016, hosted by the Netherlands Society for Thrombosis and Haemostasis. Aim is to host the event every two years, each time with a different national society as the host (rotational). With the above-proposed plans in mind, this letter is intended to inform you about this initiative.
